Can it be done? I have a problem with a guy here at work who cant seem to stay off the 'net

If you go to internet options > content tab. there should be a content advisor section, enable this and set it up to deny everything. it should give you an option for a password.

Yeah it can be done in a couple different ways but first is it a normal network(stand alone computer) or a domain?

Dang beat me to it. You can set this thing rediculously high so it'll block everything cept dora the exporer's website.

You might also look into websense.

That'll work on %0.00389 of the population.

If you're like me, the first day @ a new job involves setting up the content advisor with my own password as well as changing the Administrator password that comes with XP that they never change the password for and then assigning my Domain login to the computer's Administrators group.

Never thought of this, but some routers / firewalls can actually filter outbound traffic via a MAC address. Do you have a decent firewall??
