That's a weird reason to switch - just sayin'.

What I care about is SECURITY.....
Now, with that said, I'd like for all those babbling techies who don't know jack about what really matters, to just shut the hell up...
So, when we break it down, which Browser is the most secure???
Well, believe it or not, despite what some may think Internet Explorer 9 has more security than all of it's contenders....
That's because Microsoft took the time to hook into UAC... (That's User Account Controls)
So, UAC catches far more than Firefox ever could...
Don't get me wrong I still use firefox, but when it comes to true security, well, IE9 is just spanking the pants off of those other browsers...
enough said?

"Unfortunately for Microsoft, it's easier to escape the sandbox in IE than escape the sandbox in Chrome," he said while within earshot of several senior Microsoft security managers. "The IE sandbox is less restrictive and has many memory corruptions, which is not the case with the Google chrome sandbox."

IE sandbox should be much stronger in Windows 8 with EPM though. At the same time, Chrome is also having its sandbox improved.

I don't know if someone already posted this, but these statistics are based on w3schools logs, meaning Chrome takes over as king of browsers used to visit w3schools. They may be monitoring other sources but those stats are still from their log files.

I switched to firefox from chrome after more than a year of using chrome and Im not looking back to any other browser. Chrome felt too plain, I needed some customization options and more plugins. That's where Firefox comes in smile.gif
My needs are most likely different from yours.
