Speedstep not working - Page 3

Simple. Turn speedstep off.
It's a bug on the P8Z68-V bios, when it's set to be off it's actually on, and inverted.

Wow, odd that a bug like that would still be outstanding! Was there never a BIOS update to fix that?

Well, I turned speedstep off - still not working.

I'll reset CMOS and see what happens.

What BIOS verison are you running? 3703 or 3801?
Have you tried to restore defaults, aka remove your overclock? Don't know if it has anything to do with your overclock, but 4+2 power phase isn't the best thing out there.

I thought ASUS power delivery was rock solid - even with 4+2?

I'll check the bios and reset defaults ASAP, can't do it ATM.

EDIT: I used the ASUS optimal preset, it OCs to 4.4Ghz which is enough for me and speedstep works.
