Analysts suggested the shares would have fallen on Friday, had it not been for underwriters stepping in to buy up stock.

The offer price valued the site at $104bn (£66bn)

The value of FB was overestimated in their IPO, this is not surprising.

Zuckerberg just lost $2B in personal stock. lol.

I doubt their price will ever go back up to $38 / share. That's about 100 times their annual profit...I think Google's current valuation is only about 18 times their profit.

predictable. There is no profitability here. The fundamentals aren't there and it was priced based on hype. FB itself got a nice cut from the IPO though and that was their goal.

10% loss in 2 days; that's an impressive ROI for such a great company! Buy buy buy! lachen.gif

Facebook IPO will go down as one of the biggest shams in history. Facebook generated $18 billion for their company, and now the stock could drop to $1, the company itself won't be hurt one bit. Employees, who are shareholders; perhaps. But it's a complete mess when you have 80% of the company owned by employees, when most aren't even middle-management material. Oh well, take out the popcorn guys.
