This year I haven't lost any hardware to the CC, but in my usual tradition, I lost hardware right before it, keeping me down for far too long. This year, it was a pump failure, and the replacement took entirely too long to get here. I have no clue where the stock coolers are for my 460's, so that left me out of luck. Sadly, it was entirely my fault, as I knew the pump was on its way out and I should've had a spare onhand or replaced it already. For the last 6 months or so, it was iffy on if it would start up when powered up, but once it came on it ran great for weeks on end, and I was being cheap. Oh well, lesson learned.

I hate this thread, these things always make me panic that kevdog is gonna strike down my sig rig, and I just managed to get it folding bigadv in a vm eek.gif

On the plus side, it's nice to know that my lowly H80 can cope with this oc'ed beast with plenty of room to spare, without disturbing my sleep thumb.gif

I don't dare fold on my mini-ITX rig, because if the temps while gaming are any indication, I could probably be using it as a cooktop. I also conscripted my work PC (Dell Optiplex 790 SFF + i7-2600 + Linux) into folding. If that thing dies, I wouldn't be surprised. Plus I'd probably get a new computer out of it tongue.gif

Part way through my first bigadv for CC and my rad fans stop working while I'm sleeping. By the time I woke up my temps were at 95C and the pump was making a loud humming sound so I'm pretty sure the pump is toast now. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
