I have 8 gigs of memory in bios it shows up as 8192 in cpuz and in windows to but under taskmanager im only getting 8159 my windows was reinstalled recently it did it befor also.

well guess im not the only one but a laptop is differt it uses memory for the gpu also looks like you have 256megs dedicated to the onboard gpu.

A small amount of memory being reserved is not abnormal. I'm missing 2MiB on my primary system, but my systems with IGPs, even disabled ones, are missing more.

Your lost ~32MiB is probably reserved by the Intel HD3000.

That should be disabled on p67 sence it has no onboard gpu support funny thing the older bios 2302 i thk i had 8069 but with the newest bios i have 8059.

its enabled if i turn it off i get less memory lol it droped to like 4gigs for some reason.
