Why would you increase the HT link speed? It does nothing, and can actually hurt performance. HT speeds/voltage should be kept as close to stock as possible.

EDIT: Looking at cpuid now, im seeing 1.475 at idle to 1.484. will stress test now.

EDIT 2: Just crashed 2 mins into P95 run. Although, my voltage stayed around 1.45 which is awesome. VDDA @ 2.8 must have corrected that? It used to drop to 1.42 under load with VDDA on auto.

Also, do you guys know this is a 140w max TDP mobo? CPUID reports 161w HAHA and HWM reports 177w!!!

You don't, you keep it as close to 2000 as possible.

Increasing CPU-NB does gain slight performance increases but not appreciable IMO.

I think this board is pretty stout, as it's an overclocking specific board with quality power phases. I would fear for it without the VRM cooling and an X6.

Well im pulling x6 3.85ghz now. 220 htt 17.5 multi.

I got it set to 1.5125v so it wont drop bellow 1.442v

Is 1.5125 safe? I had my x3 720 at 1.5, but can thubans take it?

EDIT: 3.85ghz gave a bsod after an error occurred on the 6th core. on the 5th pass of P95.

Im at 3.85 and 1.45v now, hopefully this is the sweet spot.

I'd be OK around 1.5 as long as the temps are good but you'll have to make the call if it's only worth an extra 100-200MHz.

What can your chip do as an X4? Maybe one core is weak.

Also I'd get your ram to spec to rule that out.
