the formula cant get here fast enough. looking for a new z77 board for my other rig but not impressed by the current offerings. Ive got the z77x-ud5h already so im hoping to get something different for the other one. hopefully the formula will get here soon

It will apparently be officially out on June 6th at Computex from what I've read. I'll take that with a grain of salt though since I first heard May 8th, then mid-may and now June 6th.

I have been waiting for the Formula myself, as I had held off on building a rig in anticipation of IVB, but the current board offerings do not have me enthusiastic in the least... So I have been thinking strongly about going with SB-E 3930K and the excellent (or so I have heard) Rampage IV Extreme... At $499 for the 3930K at Microcenter (with the Intel OC Protection Plan included), it seems like a great deal: 50% more cores for for less than 50% more money. Then add in the extra 24 PCIE3.0-Capable lanes and it seems to be the platform with higher degree of longevity. The MVF is the only board that may change my mind, or if Intel release a new "updated" IVB without the TIM issues...
