The look of the game is visually pleasing. Graphics are somewhat dated, but functional and integral to the story of Diablo. You can't take a game that is designed the way it is and change the graphic styling to something completely different. You can only improve it and modernize it, and in that respect, I think they have done a faithful job. The Diablo series is an isometric top down ARPG. What type of graphics do the people who are complaining want or expect ?
Game too easy as far as builds go.....could you give me some of those builds
I personally find it to be a challenging game, not too easy, not too difficult. Granted I am going through as a Barb on my own in A3 NM for now with decent gear, mainly because my party decided to F me over and go through without me while I was on my anniversary vacation, but that is off topic.
It is a worthy successor to Diablo 2. To say that it is BETTER than D2 is very hard to do for me at this point, considering I have had the game for ONE WEEK. I played Diablo 2 for close to 10 years. That game sucked my time and life away like nothing else has. So far, Diablo 3 has done that to a point, however I must admit, that with numerous connection issues, and D/Cs within the first few days, it really took me out of my gaming groove and turned annoying quickly.
To put D3 in its class, at this juncture is absurd FOR ME. Give me more time with it, and I think that it will get close. The game is a good game, and if glitches/ exploits/ connection issues are fixed in timely manners and we see a kick ass expansion 2 years down the line, then it very well could go on to surpassing Diablo 2.
To those individuals who say that it is better in every way than D2, I disagree with that statement. It is not to say THEY are wrong, I just personally disagree. IT COULD BE better, I just do not think it is there yet.
The always online thing is becoming more of an annoyance than I initially expected. Tolerable but if connection issues occur, it becomes unplayable.
I personally can do without both Auction Houses. I also could lose the Achievements. Those are unnecessary to the game in my opinion. Not bad, just not needed.
Just my opinions.

again i agree with this, and by builds i was referring to a couple posts i read and my friend rollin a wiz sayin how easy it was to farm before nerf? again i dont play but he was going nuts about this, and by it being easier i mean, they take your stat point allocation and skill tree design away, to make way for those "hi i am new to rpgs and what is this" people, not that i have a problem with them, but maybe make a hybrid system that lets you swap between automatic and manual?
and i think this guy summed up my feelings the best tbh on the d3 forums
"Sneakeh
85 Undead Rogue
ClanDropBears
2840
D2 was good.
D3 is good, just different."
also my friend finds the game easy, and that's saying a lot, cuz he gets lost in any old school rpg, or any rpg that actually requires you to think a bit, but again 98% of all of this is based on opinion, so to each his own, i just think calling this a successor AT THIS MOMENT is a bad call, my 2 cents
