Newegg wont ship to PO boxes, I live in Australia and we are sold out, apart from some places selling at $700-800.

I am after a reference model to slap on a FC block.

Looking to spend < $600.

The problem is alot of places wont ship to a P.O. Box , try sites like TigerDirect , and just honestly Google it , im unaware of places that will ship to AU.

Ship it to a friends address. Or see if you can arrange to have it picked up and signed for at the shipping center in your location Go over the the EVGA website and look under products and at the bottom of the pull down there is a where to buy section. They have a ton of places world wide listed. There may be something near you that can either ship it or you can go get it.

All sold out and they are $700+

Getting a 670 for $500 I actually prefer this, not keen on spending $100 for performance I wont even notice, I didnt realise they were so close in performance when both overclocked.

Your retail cards that are overclocked, super clocked, etc. are nothing more than a basic vanilla card that has been rated by the manufacturer to run at these speeds out of the box without tampering with any settings. I never buy anything but the vanilla versions and I use my overclocking software to create profiles for all 4 overclocked versions out there and my card hits those speeds and beyond and never once crashed.

Unless you see some hardware difference always go with the basic card and save your money. look carefully at the stats though as some with hardware differences may include a few more shaders or memory ghz. but usually it's marginal performance for the extra $100 that you can squeeze out yourself with some testing.
