phenom II 965 temps

hi all, I've recently oc my CPU to 4.1 ghz and I'm worried about my temps
idle temp 40
surfing/ watching videos 40-45
at load 55-60
is there any risk with that temperatures?

Those are pretty good temps for that type of overclock! If you're below 62C on load, you're good.

It really depends what you mean by "load". is that after playing games or stress testing?

oh really? sweet.. thanks. will an H100 help to even cool it more? cause my case getting very hot air out of it, my room gets to hot for me..

yes, an h100 should cool it a little more. But some good fans for that type of radiator go a long way too.

To test load, people on here will typically use something like Prime 95 or Orthos. They will turn your CPU usage to 100% and test your max TDP and stability of your overclock.

Boinz was referring to fans that have high flow rate (CFM) and decent static pressure.

Nice temps.

Wonder why there is a 5C difference for load temps? Is full load fluxing between 55 and 60 between all the cores? Could try reseating the cooler/reapplying TIM.
