Soooo, do you want to sell him your card? or you just don't want to spend time without a gpu while you save for the 7970?

Initially i had no intention of selling the GTX460 coz for a longtime i thought that HD6870 was better than overclocked GTX460 which by this morning we realized that was not the case and that the GTX460 I had was better compared to the HD6870 my other friend had which are the cards above.

So initially as a joke i told him that if i were to sell it to him i would sell it at $120, and partly led me here. So i would sell him the card no problem and stay without til the HD7970 Comes in June 28th i sent someone in Germany and He'll be here by then, and i can hold off coz currently i don't have any games to play. as i completed all that i had bought between February and now

Thanks for all of your feedback, tho something fanny happened like 2hrs ago so her it goes

My friend Who wanted a card just bought the HD6870 above for $170 finally he added more money to his limited $150 budget I'm happy for him.

The fanny part is, the other friend of mine who sold him the HD6870, come to me like 1hour ago and bought my GTX460 for $160 more than what i wanted for it.

So now I am left without a Graphics Card, and am jealous coz i am currently running on the 2500K integrated graphics and they are happily playing games (LAN Play) they are having a LAN Party as i write this and texting me they seem to be happy and i cant join till 28th June is when i get a new card

I think i should Get the GTX680 instead of the HD7970 to get back at my friend who bought my GTX460 he seems too happy with it.

Now my friend who bought my GTX460 claims the GTX460 is whipping his former HD6870 in all the games they are currently playing,.. i feel like ripping his head off

Maybe when Amd settles their driver problems the 6800 will excel.

Transistor count does not directly correlate to performance. I have used both AMD and Nvidia before and no, AMD driver works perfectly fine. In fact I switched to AMD because Nvidia can't fix that TDR bug on its newer driver.

6870 smokes 460, this is a fact.

6870 is the better card; a GTX 460 is more on par with a 6850.

What are you people reading i specifically said performance between the two cards that i posted on this thread, not in general performance between launch and new tech or anything like that.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-geforce-gtx-460-ftw-01g-p3-1378-tr-overclocked,2795-15.html

The above links show that the EVGA GTX460 FTW beats the HD6870 while the EVGA GTX460 FTW is running at 850 Core & 1000 Memory so by logical law if that beats the HD6870 so does the above GTX460 wich is running even higher Core 900, Memory 1050
