Are those from a different batch than what will be coming into stock soon, or should I expect a good chance of having to RMA my card when it arrives? Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.

Only a few initial batches had issues. You are fine since EVGA discovered the issue last week already.

for the record there isn't any plans for a 4gb 670 FTW... only the 680 FTW is getting 4gb it seems...

i've got 2 of these cards on order... *fingers crossed* the problems are limited to the 2gb model

I have one of these on (pre) order with Tiger Direct, these 670 SC 4GB cards aren't out yet so that is why it shows up as backordered.

I'm expecting EVGA will have fixed the problems some people saw with the 2GB SC cards and that it won't affect the 4GB SC cards, they'd be silly not to.

For me it was worth it to pre-order just to avoid missing out on the initial batch and the great price on a 4GB card for multi-monitor.

Two of these are great, I'm strongly considering a third. Latest build is Maximus Extreme IV based. 1350W psu though, need to hook up the wattmeter to see what's pulled.
