I don't measure my entertainment and its subsequent enjoyment/displeasure by $/pH. I didn't pay $60, I payed $40 by price matching through a department manager at a Walmart for a hard copy. tongue.gif

But yeah - the game is broken at its core. Oh well. I await to see if CS:GO is any good, and whatever shooters are to be released on the annual cycle.

Immaturity at its finest; I am going to cry its broken and tell people not to get the maps even though I cant give a reason why its "broken". Sure the game has problems some of em such as the balance ones brought on by the community itself which DICE has stated they will fix in the next patch but it is definitely not broken. But its so much easier to whine than argue objectively and claim people are attacking you and twisting your words isn't it?

Also if the game wasn't fun for you how did you get 300 hours out of it?biggrin.gif Normally if something is not fun for me I you know stop playing it

Wut? How is it not gamebreaking, the M26 on a G3 does 408 damage per shot

at least half the servers in Europe will kick/ban you for using it as it stands, sounds pretty bad to me.

Not to mention that the patch came out in March, they admitted the bug as soon as it dropped(do they even test their games?),so if they admit they have messed up why are we having to wait until some point in June for a fix?not to mention that the MAV riding bug took 2 attempts to fix!

Explain the 'immaturity' bit if you would, because there is none of it present in my posts to you! Feel free to re-read my posts where I mention I enjoy the game!

I've never told anyone, 'Don't buy the map packs because the game is broken!'.

I'm not here to argue with you because your opinion isn't fact and your banter will not change my opinion and view of the game.

Do you know why I ended my last post the way I did? Only because I knew, absolutely KNEW you wouldn't let it go and rant on about me a little more. And prove me right you have! thumb.gif

This is the second and last time I'll say this. This isn't about me, or you. Stop making it between me, and you.

If you can't do that, put me on your ignore list because I can't be bothered to put you on mine, you're not that special. (Yet.) wink.gif

Wouldn't game breaking be something that makes playing impossible? I think the fact they many of the M26 users do get banned from servers just proves that it's not really a game breaking bug. It a pretty bad bug, but in decent servers with active/fair admins, it's not even an issue. I usually see game breaking bugs as just that, bugs that break the game. Bugs that prevent you from playing any further.

Also, we don't honestly know when the patch is coming out. Could be within the next week.

You people have all made your points before. This is the same freaking argument that's been in every BF3 thread by the same people. We get it.. Let us who want to discuss the game actually discuss it and stop turning threads into b-fests that eventually get locked.

I remember when an expansion was more then a handful of new maps and weapons, but these days everytime I read about DLC or "expansions" I die a little bit inside.

Thats how i felt when i was told Gears of war 3 has the DLC on the disk already...but oh wait it was "separate" than the development of the main game, so its alright...right? So instead of adding 10 new maps to the game and new game modes, they can dub the work as "seperate" and wait to charge money for it....but thats ok, RIGHT?

What issues? I've yet to hear of these from anyone eek.gif . It can't be very widespread or there would be a heck of a lot of news flying around.

As far as the DLC, I too would prefer $9.99, but I'll still buy it at $15. I'm sure most will, too... and DICE/EA know that.

I've never really had much of an issue with DLC... expansions used to cost maybe 10 less than a full new game, and offer most of the content of a new game. DLC costs 1/5-1/4 of what a new game in a series would, and provides about the same dollar/content ratio. I don't see the problem.
