LOL this shows DX11.1 support for my GPU but GPU-Z shows that its still DX11.0

Just curious, anyone care to enlight me on the differences between both?

Looks like I'll go for it. Currently on 295.73 so I could use an upgrade. BTW, this is very useful for doing a clean install without risking any potential issues by using driver sweeper.

I am having nothing but problems with these drivers on my GTX580
Blank screens on startup, crashing on benchmarks, card won't run full clocks at time.
2FPS in Heaven benchmark. I've tried them on 2 different computers.

What gives? I tried this and the beta and they're the same problems.

On the other hand, my 670 loved these drivers.

On the nVidia forums, it seems the trend is the new driver gives blue/black screens on start-up for 120 Hz monitors and for some 580 users locks them at the 50 MHz idle clock speed regardless of the requested load.
It makes me breakfast, too!

Okay. That's pretty much exactly what I thought was going on.

120hz monitor + the 50mhz lock on main PC

Just the 50mhz lock on my other PC

Lame. So much for all those huge improvements with the epic 301 driver release.

I think im gonna wait on these drivers. I've got the 301.24beta drivers and they're working just fine for me...I don't think there will be any difference with these on my 580...

I started having multiple freezing and weird errors since I installed this newest driver 301.42 on my GTX460 EVGA 1GB CARD. I even reloaded my windows and it still gave me problems. I have installed a 296.10 version and so far no freeze or errors. Knock on plastic biggrin.gif lol anyways beware of updating to this driver.

Haven't had any issues with this driver on my GTX570. Plays videos, and games like Battlefield 3 just fine. I've been running these drivers for a week or two now.
