If those specs are correct, that'd be awesome. Goes completely against the RV700 or whatever rumors...

Not to mention it was posted by some user on an Italian forum. Huge skepticism here.

So their using a 5770/6770 rather than a 4870. Some would consider it a downgrade, but not by much.

2GB is weaksauce nowadays. I mean its a huge upgrade for 88mb from the wii... but at the same time load of em with huge of amounts of DDR3 while its cheap.

Running Assassin's Creed 60fps on 1080p is barely an accomplishment. How about some more taxing titles like BF3, Skyrim etc.

Overall the console looks decent, especially when you compare it to the rumoured ps4 and xbox specs. However when the xbox 360 first came out, it did have godly specs at a good price at the time, and it only looks bad now almost half a decade later because at the rate hardware development. However the new consoles right from the start are using "sub-par" hardware and it will take even less time for us to start making fun of them.

Interesting all the developers are going with either fusion or a 5770/6770. AMD really nailed efficiency there.

they could have used the 1080i format lol!its a console!nobody would notice the difference unless they use a 40+inch hdtv if it is even possible!

A 6770 is leaps and bounds better than the current consoles. I had a 5770 for about a year and in most cases it was better than the 4870 in games. I was paying BC2 maxed @ 1080p with my 5770 easily. Anyways, judging by the Italian forum, most seem to think it was a troll so disregard the information.

i play aion almost all maxed out (view distance a bit lower and shadow mid but reast is all max!at 1080i i get 40 fps!

The specifications are a bit surprising, but after looking at the price, not so much. Interesting to see it support DX 11 though. Very interested in seeing the Wii's successor.
