Hi guys.

I've done a little review about the 3770K TIM replacement. The original is in spanish, but here are the results:

25°C diff in worst case scenario, thats insane.

Hopefully all the trolls that didn't believe the first test will finally realize it IS the TIM after all.

The 5 GHz are not stable in Linx or with 1. 51v, despite having temperature maximum 74 degrees in LQP+IX. I am afraid that this processor provides no more than itself.

this is from the site!for some reason something else is going on!

It's like i said (bad traduction I think). I didn't get 5ghz HT stable for more than 5 minutes of linx/prime even with that temps and volts. It seems that this 3770K needs much lower temps for getting stability at that frecuency.
I didn't try to push further. Too much volts.

On 4.5ghz and 1.2v i have max 63 degrees on a modest cpu cooler, with a modest case. And its with the intel TIM.

So, I have been out of the whole TIM loop for a couple weeks now... but what I am hearing now is not only did they skimp by using TIM instead of solder but its bad TIM? Are most people with IVY chips replacing the TIM on the IHS now too?
