Did you tried liquid pro inside + other TIM before use liquid + liquid or you went from directly to that combination?

That 30º were from going from MX4 to Liquid Pro or from Intel TIM to liquid pro?

from mx-4 because i got under linx 105° at 1,392v for 4,7ghz. now i running at 4,9ghz @1.476v and max temperature is 86degrees so potentially i earned even more than 30 degrees

just delid mine. i did liquid ultra on die+on ihs. i got myself some watercooling aswell lets see how far we can go now biggrin.gif

edit:
yep thats a good 15C drop over default tim+air cooling. my memory wont overclock as well anymore though frown.gif i guess ill take a cooler 5ghz+1600 mem over a hotter 4.8ghz+1866 mem

done my 3770k last Friday. Used AS5 +AS5 instead of Intel +AS5.

The result is amazing..............

CPU-Z 1.256 for 4.5ghz before de-lid hit 94 max in IBT/Prime with AVX.

After de-lid and replaced the TIM, its now 80 max with same settings everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14 degree difference make me happy smile.gif

Intel did a **** job for sure...

Still thinking if Liquid pro will give me more headroom in temp or not smile.gif
