Another starter with watercooling :)

Thread Starter
Hello!

I'm planning to build my first computer and i'll throw in a water cooling system. Being an IT, I think it's about time to make one. It's never too late tongue.gif

I did a week worth of reading/searching but I still got some questions.
I'll get an HAF X. And i'll throw a 360 rad under top fans (i've read it's possible).
A cpu and a single gpu will need cooling.

1) Is a 360 rad enough?

2) If I plug the pump directly on the psu, will it run 24h/7?

3) If yes for Q2, is there a way to prevent that? (like fan controller that will stop the pump automatically)

I will probably have more questions coming soon (as I read more on watercooling).

Thanks in advance!

1. depends on what you are cooling, how hot a system has to cool.
2. no, pump plugs into a switched output on the PSU (molex circuit) so it wont run 24/7,
unless the system is on for 24/7.

what are the system specs? what kinda hardware is envolved?
what temperature are you getting under a 100% load for 30-60min?
have you seen all the HAF X watercooling reviews?
