Researcing Intel I7 and APU-8 3500, Which do I get for RTS games?

I'm researching CPU's for laptops for the first time. I really just want a light, low profile Laptop, not really for gaming, but for work and net surfing and watching blu-ray movies (I have a big blu ray collection so I don't care about the screen resolution)

But if I play a game, i'm only interested in playing Star craft of Company of heroes.


Plus, do Laptops with A8-processors have integrated graphics chips that are soldered right on the board, because I can fix any laptop problem, but I don't have a rework station. So I'd be willing to go with an A-8 if the on chip graphics is the only graphics chip on the computer.

how are laptops with the 2450m i5 core? I see one with a blu ray player...I kinda order it tommorow.

Also, am I going to see a big drop in performance and speed if I get a 5400rpm HDD over a 7200 RPM?

Okay, so I did about hours research, I found a Full HD 1080p 15.6, i5, 2430 processor (2.4-3.0ghz), 6GB DDR3, 540m 1gb dedicated graphics (is that still good) with a 640GB 5600rpm SATA for $898
It also comes with a blu-ray player....that is perfect isn't it?

I also see one on Sam's Club that has a 17.3" 900p screen and a i5 2450m but only hd3000 graphics. It's 90 bux less though?

I also a core i7 2670q with 7690m xt graphics with a blu ray player, but unfortunately it only has a 15.6" 700p screen.

Which is better, 540m or 7690m xt?

Also, I've never had the pleasure of fixing a customer with a 540m or 570m mobile processor, can you take those out, or are they soldered to the board?

This laptop would be the most perfect ever if only...it had a 900p screen $799.99 for a core i7 and a 7690xt m. how much better is a 7690xt m than 540m? I found a comparison here dude, I don't know what to do. I mean, 720 p should be fine for a screen smaller than 32 Inches. other wise this would be a super perfect laptop.
