I'm completely new to Linux, and is this how it's supposed to look like?
I'm trying to fold.

Are you wondering if the folding should take up 100%?  If so then yes, unless you decide to specify the folding client to use less threads to free up some CPU time for other programs.

It looks like you are running the folding client as unicore instead of smp. The top command shows 100% for each fully loaded thread. If this is on your 920, you would want it to show 800% load from the folding core process.

Which computer is this on? What client are you running and how have you configured it (i.e. command arguments)?

This is on my 530, and I'm running the 32bit client. Pretty sure I didn't do anything advanced.

Ah. 32-bit can only run the unicore folding client. SMP requires a 64-bit OS.

Are you running Linux natively or through a virtual machine (inside Windows XP)? If you are running native, then you should install a 64-bit version of Linux to make full use of your machine.
