Hi guys, I basically want an ultra-portable laptop with the best CPU/GPU I can get.
I have no preference be it Intel/Amd/nVidia whatever.
However I have some requirements.
1.
14" or below 900x1600p minimum resolution.
>14" 1080p1920p
2.
Under 3.5 kg is 100%, this is something I deem as necessary.
However anything under 2.5kg is PERFECT as it's so easy to carry and not noticeable at ALL.
3.
Battery life on reasonable brightness with a word document open needs to be 4 hours I'm used to 6-12 hours atm depending on battery and I end up using it to 20%, I need this as I use it often outdoors, in school/work at night sometimes so 4+ at the wall is a MINIMUM. By factory specs it'll have to say 5+ hours because they always lie unless it's a review site/user

Must have a dedicated GPU in the form of a dock or integrated. I would like it to be able to play "basic" games when I'm away from my desktop, BF:3 on low/medium mw3
on medium/high, portal 2 maxed etc.
5.
Must have a 256gb ssd or more [512gb is a BONUS] (preferably a samsung 830).
That's it tbh.
Notes:
As thin/light as possible is always best.
I have NO BUDGET at all, find something in the specs for $4000 and I'll take it.
Also I currently have a sony vaio vpcz2 with a 6650m in a dock. The 6650m is under performing due a bandwidth limitation (thunderbolt is a 4x). I have the latest drivers etc.
The next sony vaio (specs released with a quad core ivy bridge cpu) has the same gpu re-badged and the same EXTERNAL DOCK which will have the same limitation so please don't recommend it to me.
Style is a + but function comes first.
Furthermore, I am aware of the Clevo 11.6" laptop and that is only available with a 768x1366 screen which is a TN panel. Furthermore this is horrendous as I need 900p or more for workspace (often do lots of things and I NEED screen real-estate).
An Ips screen is a +.
