Will these fans make a difference?

Newegg is having a case fan 20% off promotion for memorial day. So I guess Im goin to jump on that deal so Im thinking about overclocking my CPU and GPU soon so I am planning to buy 1 fan for my push and pull config for my hyper 212 + and maybe a PCI Slot Cooling fan. I am hopping atleast my temps are get lower by 10 C. Right now my temps are in the 35*C for my CPUand my GPU is 35*C (the fan RMP is 20%). These temp are in gaming mode( playing CSS if that matters) and with stock volts and everything stock.

Zalman Z11 Case (non plus) (4 Fans include 2 80mm Side Fans, 1 120mm front fan and 1 Rear 120mm Fan).
Questions:
Do you guys think that those two products I am looking at a good choice? ( I dont care much about sound)
Do you guys think that those two products will lower my temps by atleast 10 C in Idle for now?
Are there any fans you would recommend me if you dont like the 2 products I suggested.
Do you guys know of a Place that sell the brackets for the fan instillation for the hyper 212+ (I m right now email them if they can sent me one they hadnt reply yet).

there was a test someone did here on ocn with the 212+ with several fans in push, pull and push/pull and showed none of it helped much more than just the standard fan on it. i will find a link for you

Really none so are you saying there no point on buying a another fan for a push and pull config. Is there any way I can lower my CPU temps then other than upgrade my CPU cooler?
All I am hoping is like 10 C lower also do you think the PCI slot Cooling fan worth it? is it goin to help by chance maybe 5-10 C lower?

Damm After this looking at that post I have no idea how to make my CPU cooler other than a push and pull config but now I know it make a tiny differnece it not worth is there a way to cool my CPU? other than upgrade my CPU COOLER

10c is a pretty big difference to expect by slapping an extra fan onto a budget tower cooler. I doubt you will see more than half of that, if even.

The PCI exhaust fan could lower ambient temps a decent margin depending on your setup, and therefore has the potential to lower CPU temps as well, but it could also hurt your gpu temps or make little difference at all. Without physically looking at your rig, I couldn't really tell you. Either way, 10c load cpu temp change is still unlikely.

Either way, its a bit of a moot point if you're just overclocking for the sake of CSS. You probably already get what... 600FPS? Even the best monitors can't display any more than just one fifth of that. The best mice can barely keep up with that and that's even assuming you're running on an overclocked USB controller which is unlikely at best. You won't see any practical gain whatsoever from overclocking if all you are concerned with is CSS.

You won't expect anything better by getting better fans. 10C is a huge margin to lower temps by, and I doubt you'll even get 5C lower.

xD I have plenty of more games. Why do you think I got a Sapphire 7850 for lol. The games I have Mafia 2, Saint Row 2 and 3, Starcraft 2, Counter Strike Source, Call of Duty Series, Battlefield 3, L.A Norie, Crysis 2. The only reason why I test on CSS cause I had no time to test all of the other games. Well back on topic what are you recommend me doing then I really wanna lower my temps by atleast 8*C. What do you recommend me doing? Should I just buy a really good PCI slot cooling fan and skip the push and pull config?

Doesnt matter how good the slot fan is really, it will only give a substantial benefit if your case is lacking airflow below the GPU and it also helps rather than fights the gpu's cooling solution. Can't tell you that without looking.

If you want a sure bet on better temps, you need to either get a better cooler, better / more case fans, or more efficient / lower power draw hardware.



That said, the mount on the cpu cooler can wildly change the temps of the cpu. you sure you have a good mount? If not, it might be worth the $5 of thermal paste to make sure. A bad mount can add 10 degrees easy.
