Wich cpu to get for gaming? - Page 7

LOL this is the problem with asking for help like this in a forum. You're going to get tons of different answers. Basically, do the research on all the hardware, figure out which features are important to you, then find parts according to those features while staying in your budget. You'll be happy no matter which way you go. thumb.gif

This.

As long as you get an unlocked multi Intel 1155 socket cpu, and an appropriate motherboard you'll be golden.
560sli is good if you psu is strong enough -more than 650w 80% plus-, if not sell the old card and get a used gtx580 or something similar.
If you're going with more than one 1080p monitor or higher res -2560x1440- you'll need some higher end cards or 580 3gb sli. thumb.gif

Stating 0 diff is false he will notice more fps gaming and everything else 5% = 15% Faster.

From the review..

He clearly stated he games, and as I said before and provided proof for, he may get a couple extra frames, which he will never notice. And for all of the rest of the stuff, you will notice 5% changes, which will equate to differences you will not be able to notice without running benchmarks. If you can show proof otherwise, please do, otherwise anything you say should be passed off as hot air.

Completely unnoticable, and most of those benchmarks at 1680x1050. Look at the link I provided for Skyrim. Absolutely no difference at 2560x1440, and very minimal at 1080P. The human eye is not going to notice 4 frames. Don't try to justify the OP wasting his money because you wasted yours.

Seems your venting hot air yourself are you mad cause my cpu is faster then yours?

I showed you your own link and the numbers are there.. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/287?vs=551 Facts are the facts..

There is no waste for getting a Faster cpu for 20$ = 30$ more he would have to be stupid to get a 2500k for 30$ less then a 3570k...

here it is again look all the way down the page it is faster in 99% of everything.. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/287?vs=551
And gets the latest tech and is ready for everything coming in the future.

How do you justify not paying 30 more dollars for it.. i do not see how anyone can...

The 4 frames between 60and 56 makes me change my settings Down, so it does kinda matter, and I for one would happily pay 20 more for 4 frames As we already pay $300 + ( in autralia ) to get the 60 frames we are after,

The numbers stand for themselves. OP, You're not going to notice the minimal difference the 3570K provides. Save some money and enjoy the big upgrade from your current processor. I went with the 2500K for my gaming rig over the 3570K and money isn't an issue for me, just don't think its necessary to waste money. If your current processor is getting you by for now, wait for some sales, the 2500K will likely come down a bit more as time goes. In the end, your FPS is going to be limited by your GPU, use the savings towards upgrading that down the road.
