Temp difference between 680s?

So I was looking to buy a 680 whenever they get in stock and I saw the asus triple slot 680 and read the it was so they could put a better cooling system on it so I wanted to know how significant the temp difference if at all between the asus triple slot monster 680 and the normal nvidia 680. Also if there are really any benefits to owning one over the other. Thanks for any tips in advanced.

Honestly, it probably won't be a huge difference between many of the two slot cards you'll see from MSI or Gigabyte or others. I would recommend the MSI Twin Frozr 680 myself. A three slot cooling solution seems like overkill...

Yeah that's what Im thinking. I don't think that extra slot is going to help that much. They probably just made the heat sink taller or so something retarded like that.

Yeah, also, apart from taking up three slots, that taller heat sink may also block some of your other PCI or PCIe slots, so there's that. I wouldn't really think it's worth all that trouble.

Well that isn't a problem for me I just don't want to spend extra money on something that won't help.
