Sweet Excel graphs.

I also like the 348 bit memory interface.

Is there a source?

Also, is the light blue supposed to be a 690?

No, they haven't been tested, this is all speculation, it's a preview of what they "believe" would happen.

Probably fake, the GK110 will be massivly power hungry with the size of the chip.

I know these aren't official but I'm pretty sure that this is the performance we are going to get. I think this is exactly why nvidia gave the 680 a 256 memory bandwidth. They had to slow it down for the future product to shine.

The 680 was originally meant to be a 660 ( a mid-range card ), that's why it has a 256 bit bus.

After seeing the performance of the 7970 the GK104 chip got a "promotion" to 680.

Its what you have at the time. Nvidia could have not released GTX680 and waited 6-8 months after HD 7970 to release GK110 but they would lose to time. GK110 is this fast because its getting resealed 1 year after HD 7970. That beaing said if this card is priced appropriately i cant wait to pick one up.

If only HD7900 series about 80% better than GTX 580 ,we will be able to get this thing at GTX 680 launch time but what us consumer can do...

If GK110 is that fast i dont think Nvidia will replace it for at least another 1.5 years.
