Some advice on my rig pls I'm new to OC.net , I'm pushing my 8150 and 16gb Vengeance

Sorry if 've posted in the wrong place, please don't tell me off just tell me where I need to be


I've pushed the build and OC'd as far as I can, I've clocked up and hit the 1.5v core volts I'm thinking 1.6 to 1.7 with my thermals on max. Please see this, CPU-z rejected it, dunno why but my system is totaly stable

I did get a boot to win 7 with 5.4Ghz, but wasn't stable enough to CPU-z it. Ive got a WUI of 7.8 and all the thermals are at high 30's Cel, I know I can bench 7.9 but I'm only working on stability not the numbers game.

Is there anything I'm missing, I've slackened the timings and I'm gonna tighten them up slowly

ive heard corsair vengence doesnt over clock for ****, when i was looking for ram i was told that thumb.gif

Nice Windows 7 Score, I got higher then 7.8 everywhere except for my HDD because I dont have an SSD yet tongue.gif

I heard that too, I had to slacken the timings quite a bit, from 9 to 11 on the top 3 then 24 and up the ddr voltage to 1.43 from moderate 1.2v also increase the mhz on the nb->cpu.

But i went from standard 1600 to 21**+. I just wanted to see if was possible and it is, my system was quite stable too.
