I am for a keyboard which would enable me to pres WSAD + surrounding keys during long gaming sessions with as little pain/discomfort as possible - this is basically my only requirement - don't care about the price / macros / anti-ghosting / back-light etc (it can be a non-gaming keyboard if its comfy). Well I do care a bit about noise - I would prefer it to be quiet if possible (however the comfort is more important)
Can you recommend me any such keyboard(s) ? Or can you give me general advice which types of keyboards are more comfortable (rubber domes vs. mechanical, normal profile vs. low profile, built-in wrist rest vs. buying a separate wrist rest ...) For mechanical keyboards - is there some general rule to order mech. switches by levels of comfort for fps gaming ? E.g. red > black > brown ... ?
So far I've been looking into Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000, read some positive feedback about it, not sure though if it being comfortable for typing translates also to "it" being comfortable for fps gaming. Yet I have already ordered it but I intend to buy couple of other keyboards (based on your recommendations) to see if at least one works for me.
Btw wish I would have started solving the keyboard comfort issues much sooner then only after my left hand suddenly developed severe pain symptoms (after prolonged gaming session) where lack of a proper wrist support was likely a major contributing factor into it.
