What's a good file encrypter?

I need something free which can encrypt some of my files. The better security the better.

I don't really know anything about encryption, but I'd like something that would be as hard to crack as possible.

I use TrueCrypt to encrypt my drives.

It has encryption levels that are literally un-crackable except for super computers.

And its very easy to use (and free)

bitlocker from microsoft!!(not all version of windows have it only higher end one!)

7zip for normal folders and files.
Truecrypt for anything that really needs to be locked.

True crypt is an amazing piece of software, i use it on all my machines, keeps everything encrypted at all times and decrypts on the fly as I need it. Although you don't have to run it that way I just like as much security as I can get.
