Help with new build

Hey guys, so recently just bought parts for a new computer and for some reason it will just flash a blue led and turn off. The parts I have are:

CM 690 ii advanced
i5 2500k
Corsair 500w PSU
AsRock z77 mobo
GTX 560 ti

I've replugged everything in a few times and still just a little blue led pops up and turns off. Am I plugging in something wrong?

Did you plug the atx 12v plus in? Also,make sure that your video card is plugged as well,if need s to be plugged in. If that doesn't work,take everything out and try again.

Where does that blue LED show up? On the MoBo? Or on the display, or where?
Try your PSU on another PC and see if it results in the same. If the PSU works fine there, I suppose it must be the MoBo that's faulty.
Cuz neither HDDs or GPUs cause no-power-issues, as far as I know.
