hey !

like i said it is possible to convert my acer G245HQBID (60hrz) to the GN245HQBID 120hrz ?

because when i do a compare between the acer (GN) 120 hrz and my (G) 60 hrz they look similar in everything, so maybe there is a tips to do that !

also how can i force the 74 hrz in every games ?
(some game include the refresh setting option , some others not , so they work on 60 hrz )

ps: im able to up my G245HQBID to 74hrz with the ToastyX settings with no lag ore stutter-judder stuff in game
and yes i have a good pc to hold the 120 fps in gaming
gtx 590 oc 770/900
phenom 1100T 4.10CPU /3.00 CPUNB

help guys

thx

You have a 60 hertz screen. it is impossible to turn that into a 120hertz screen.

not sure if serious...

AFAIK you cannot I repeat CANNOT go beyond the spec of your monitor. Be glad you're able to go higher than the recommended specs in terms of Hz and its refresh rate. You'd be borking your monitor of you forced 120hz on a 60hz spec'ed monitor.

here where talking about a specific model the acer G245HQBID the same like GN245HQBID in everything but only the refresh is 60 and the GN is 120

so i guess maybe there is a tips to create the same timming of the screen or flash that EDID rom ...

because at now i can up the screnn to 74 hrz with no judder or stutter and it look so damn better "smouth" and nice response time , so that why i m asking maybe i tips - tweak to convert the screen to 120 hrz

and guys do u know how to fix a custom refresh rate in games because it sucks to play some games 74 hrz/fps and some others 60
really there is a nice nice improvement between the 60 and 74 so the 120 gonna be like paradise for my smile.gif
