CPU: AMD : Fx-6100 ( Bulldozer / Zambezi ) ($99)
CPU cooler : CM Hyper 212 Plus ($15)
RAM : (4 x 2) (1600) g.skill sniper F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR ($25)
PSU : Corsair Enthusiast : TX650 v2 ($55)
HDD : Hitachi 500Gb Hitachi HDS721050 ($50)
VID : OnBoard : Radeon HD4250
DVD/R/W : Optiarc AD-7240s ($16)
CASE : CM Elite 430 ($0 /after MIR)
... wow, one heck of a journey ...
... but, thanks to all the great OC support sites ..
... I finally got this AMD Bulldozer/Zambezi rig to OC'd 4.55Ghz ;
...and IS pretty stable & REAL-COOL & Quiet !
imho: neither the: AMD FX-6100 nor the GA 880ga
AOD Benchmark/Performance Score
is relatively dismal : 8700+/-
... ( my "affordable" RAM did NOT help)

18mos. ago I built/OC'd Intel: 2500k ..Asus P8P67 etc.
... from current experience .. I admit that I do
... prefer OC'g an Intel/Aus over AMD/Gigabyte ..
