THIS WORKS. I get 2560x1600 using the 12.11 driver and AMD Downsampling GUI. However - when I install 14.4 (tried install overtop, tried install after DDU, tried install after uninstall using catalyst uninstall via Catalyst(?)

How do you get it to stick? I get the same ADL error message after going to 14.4 and it removes the resolution from windows settings.

I'm on Windows 7 64bit and using a radeon 5770 but thats not quite relevant to this, aye? Also My display is a Sharp Aquos LC32gp1u and I can supersample BF4 200% from 1080p (with lowered FPS) on my r9 280x (RMA'd, coming back tomorrow ^_^)

Again, this hack/method worked, UNTIL I installed 14.4 - how to make it stick?

13.2 b7 on Windows 8;
Any ideas?

EDIT: I am reading 13.1+ breaks downsampling like this?

Is there a known work around or just have to roll back to previous drivers?

EDIT: I will answer my own question:

The best work around currently if you are using new drivers (13.1+):

1. Uninstall current new driver using amd tool
2. Reinstall 12.11
3. Setup resolutions with DownSamplingGui0.6
4. Reinstall newest driver
5. Enjoy your downsampling

With 13.11 beta 9.5 amd drivers highest resolution i can get is 2720x1700 using Guzz method on guru3d, so i'm happy now because i use vga connector on my pc monitor, and i use asus r7 250 graphics card biggrin.gif

Edit: For downsampling with crimson drivers follow this tutorial http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=404125 it's working for me smile.gif
