[bitfenix.com] Bitfenix unleashes Prodigy ITX case - Page 40

i think you guys need to chill. and this is the wrong place to be a cry baby about a case. maybe you should talk to NCIX about it, since Newegg was honorable and gave a more accurate date. NCIX just wanted to steal sales from other retailers.

Thank you Bourne..I do appreciate that you are trying to help..I went back and looked, it was June 6th that my card was charged, and I place the order a few days before that. I get the month and a half from us.ncix..they said it could be mid July before I receive the cases when I spoke to them today..that is a month and a half from ordering them (first week of June to mid July) Like I said, I was okay with them being late with some form of communication..I would have just bought a couple of different cases for my niece and nephew..it's kind of irrelevant now as I have already ordered 2 silverstone ft-03 minis that will be here wednesday...I've let us.ncix know that if they aren't on their way to me tomorrow I will be cancelling the order...No offense, but the builds are for birthday presents for my niece and nephew..have to have them built by Sunday...anything beyond Thursday is too late to get everything done (custom PSU wires, sleeving, w/c loop, etc...)

For the record..I tried to order from your website, but it was down (still is too)..even spoke with one of the Bitfenix reps (a very nice guy) trying to buy them and have them shipped direct to me...

If their intentions was to steal sales, they would not have had to stop pre-orders? I believe this is the wrong place to accuse a retailer of doing such deeds, as it was a communication problem with NCIX and the customer after pre-ordering. You can file a complaint to the BBB (Better Business Bureau)...

In regards to our site, we did used to have a store, however since we're trying to supply stock to our retailers and keeping up with the ever growing demand, we decided to halt the site to allocate the products to retailers and distributors.

Bourne, I appreciate your honesty now, and I understand any frustration you may have had. You are a middle man, and acting as one for NCIX is not your job. I think NCIX.US is not really streamlined yet and they pulled dates from NCIX canada without thinking. Either way it kinda sucks but is not ultimately your fault.

My one problem is if this case had as many pre orders as it seems through NCIX US why didn't they plan a shipment direct?

He only means that his factory (in China or Taiwan) will begin shipping them out in the last 1//2 of June. There is then the variable time that he can not account for, such as time in shipping and time in customs. So he did tell you the truth, he just answered a different question than you thought. Give him time to respond but I can tell you from what I see, he is trying to be very open and honest with you. Lets try and encourage that shall we wink.gif

Exactly. Like I said, I and maybe some others incorrectly assumed that the mid-June date applied to when it would begin shipping out to consumers instead of when it should be shipping to retailers. Either way, I've been wanting this case since I've laid my eyes on it way back so a few more weeks will have to do. I wasn't trying to attack anyone in anyway. Just venting a bit.

If they decided to change their order, it would tack on an additional 3 weeks. Once the pre-orders were live, and they knew they were going to run out, they quickly ordered a lot more.
Kay. Now i'm scared to even give you guys an ETA of the next one biggrin.gif
Probably, most likely, utterly dependent on shipping and customs, 3rd-4rth week of July. But there are other retailers, Memory Express and Canada Computers for up north, and Microcenter, Newegg down south.
So are you saying Newegg or Microcenter are going to be receiving stock before NCIX.US? If so I feel entirely misled by NCIX. A little bit hurt they didn't order any stock into the US warehouse from the very start too.
I believe NCIX US will get their stock before the 9th, maybe even next week. - which is before Newegg or Microcenter.
I see, I was a bit scared and misread your previous post as the first pre orders getting there 3rd-4th week of july. I re read it and see you mean their restock.
