Another benefit that wasn't mentioned is less mess! When you bang on the bottom of a ketchup bottle it has a tendency to come out in erratic spurts that get all over everything! I hope this actually gets incorporated into condiment bottles.
One thing though, will it only work on glass bottles? Because I have never seen ketchup in a glass bottle, just plastic. Glass is probably more expensive.
