How's this for a PSU from OCZ
Well to save yourself a lot of money, and to save yourself grief when all your stuff is obsolete in 6 months...

Get 1 x1900XTX, an E6600, 2 GBs of DDR2 1000 RAM (better overclocks with more headroom) dual 150 GB Raptors in RAID 0, a really good mobo (ASUS P5B WiFi is one of the best, I believe) a good case (Lian Li or ThermalTake are good choices) good air cooling (TT Big Typhoon VX ftw) and a good 700W + Power Supply, preferrably by PC Power & Cooling. You will have an amazing rig, save over $1000 compared to your current build, and have an amazing upgrade path.

And that's a very good choice for a PSU, btw.

Like others said, your computer will be obsolete in.. 3 month. Get a single eVGA video card now, doesn't matter what kind. Step up to an 8800GTX next month, get an E6600 and then sell it for a Kentsfield Quad-Core in a couple month. And then you'll have a real powerfull computer

BTW, a single 8800GTX will be much more powerful then 2 X1950XTXs in CF.

I agree..i think you should scale back abit..otherwise your just going to be disappointed in 3-4 months when the new Quad core's and DX10 cards come out and everythign you bought now sells for 3/4ths or less what you paid...

Of course thats just the natural flow of computer hardware..but right now specifically with two very large new technologies coming out in the next month or two is the worst time to go balls out on everything..

Jack is right though..

Get a EVGA 7900 GTO or something, a good motherboard, a E6600, 2 gigs of some good RAM, afew raptors and your set...

Then next month when the DX10 cards come out you can use EVGA's "step-up" program and upgrade to a DX10 card...(you send them your adapter, with EVERYTHING that came in the box, and pay the difference between what you paid for your card and the upgrade and they send it too you)

It would be a much better use of your money getting a DX10 card than a X6800 or dual 1900XTX's...there wont be much gain in games using a X6800 over a X6600, its all video card at the level of games we are getting too now adays..and not even dual X1900's will look as good as a DX10 card(because they cant run DX10!)

Yeah, it wasnt even for their jobs, my mom doesn't work. My dad does, and he's going to continue where he works now even when we move. Money wasnt an issue here for the first time. If I wasnt moving, and come christmas time I would have gone a lot cheaper, and overclock. But since money isn't an issue I just wanted to make the best out of it. But we're moving because they "Don't like it here in New Jersey" so it wasnt anything serious.
