Fastest PCI Card?

Thread Starter
Yes, PCI. I have 5 HP DL585 servers that I would like to use as part of a folding@home farm. The motherboards ONLY have PCI-X slots (this is backwards compatible with PCI). Unfortunately, no one ever made a PCI-X card.

So I have no other options. What is the fatest PCI card on the market?

I think the fastest PCI card on the market is the Nvidia GT430.
450

Zotac GT430 here for US$70.

Yep, that should be it, I remember doing a good bit of research a while back on this subject.

Thanks very much! Very helpful. That's actually much more powerful then I was expecting.

Indeed so far the GT430 is the fastest PCI card but if you plan to fold on it keep in mind that most of the time this card equals GT240 in folding performance. I have one and it never jumped over 4500PPD
