Scythe Slipstream 1200rpm Replacement

Today my Scythe SY1225SL12M 120mm "Slipstream" 1200rpm Case Fan died. I replaced it with my spare Scythe S-Flex SFF21F 1600rpm fan and damn, the new one is too loud. I am looking for a good replacement around 1200rpm 120mm fan for my p/p h50 setup. Any suggestions?

The NZXT Airflow Series (example) is pretty good for both radiators and regular case airflow. Other good options are this Cougar fan and the Enermax Magma.

The Noctua's are overpriced. I have yate's but I find them a little loud frown.gif

These are 1500 rpm fans so it will be a little loud. 2 of them are also pwm fans frown.gif

I am considering the Gelid, looks promising. I want the AP-13's but they are expensive @ $16/each plus $9 shipping thats $40+ for 2 fans frown.gif

The NZXT fans are pretty quiet. I have 4 in my case now and honestly they are quieter than my GT AP-15's. They don't push as much air, but you can't have your cake and eat it. Not all the time at least...

It's the same price as the Gentle Typhoon's AP-13... I would say that's a little expensive.

Hope you enjoy them. In my case they're dead silent and still manage to pull enough air to clog my filters weekly. But, if, in the future you are tempted to jump on some GT's again, go ahead. I bought 8, spending more on them than I did my case. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. They wouldn't make noise if I didn't have so many of them without PWM control on a single one.
