As I've said many times, it's not my business model, it's yours. If you're not getting enough revenue from your advertising, how is that my fault? Guess you need a new model.

The best (i.e., most effective) ad is the kind you never have to click on. If your revenue-generation scheme is so flawed that you need to ask people to click on ads, don't you think there's a problem, not with the people, but with your process?

If people aren't clicking on ads on your site, then maybe you have a crappy process for what ads are chosen.

Or maybe it's also to do with the fact that there has been a huge shift in userbase from desktops/laptops to mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.), and your ads don't really show up there?

How about analyzing your methods and using a little bit of introspection as opposed to thinking that your users are intentionally not clicking ads.

I can't remember ever clicking on an ad intentionally on any website. But you don't need someone to click on an ad in order to convert your ad to a purchase. It just sucks that you chose click-throughs as your revenue-generation.

Thank you, no-script thumb.gif

I wondered just how many years these marketing agencies and such were going to go before they realized these banner ads and things are a total loser.

I wonder the average IQ of the people who get their info/products from banner ads...they should do a study.

Do people honestly visit those ads anyway?
It's tangibly the same experience as ordering something over the phone just because you were cold called by a telemarketer.
