P5B Deluxe - Won't boot from CD

Thread Starter
For some reason, even though I have the CD-ROM to boot before the HD, I can't get my system to boot from a CD. I really don't know where to start besides the boot priority in the BIOS. Any ideas for me? I am trying to run memtest. I still want to know why it won't boot from a floppy, but any is there a windows version of memtest?

I tried two different bootable CD's also.

does it recognize the drive? make sure it does, if not try a different drive, or slot.

If you have disabled the IDE controller in BIOS then the MB will not see it.. makes sure on boot up it can be found first.

It sees the drive. If it didn't see the drive it wouldn't show up in the BIOS I wouldn't think. I installed windows just yesterday using the drive, but after that it hasn't booted from it. And the drive does work fine in windows now.
