New Graphics Card PLEASE HELP - Page 2

I'd recommend PCCG, I live on the Central Coast and most of my orders are 2 days or so. Well, the 7870 has more performance and the best cooling (triple fan model), however, it's more expensive and the 7850s can be overclocked to perform much better, for cheaper. The Gigabyte 7850 is overclocked the most out of the box, so it'll give better performance than the Sapphire or MSI, but the bundle that it comes with (accessories, warranty support etc.) pale in comparison to Sapphire. If I were you, I'd go with the sapphire, or, if you're willing to stretch your budget, the Gigabyte 7870. The MSI is $20 more expensive than the Sapphire, with a lesser overclock, however it has a 3 year warranty along with the gigabyte, which could be useful if you're planning on keeping your card for a long while.

Gigabyte 7870 with Windforce 3 cooler is going to be great and good cooling will give you more OC headroom and it's 1100MHz out of the box , I'd go for this card.
Though if you want to shave off that 20bucks go with Sapphire 7870 it's a good card too and i bet it will do 1100 no problem , probably more.

The card you picked is a very good one. But you mentioned a 250 - 300 budget. so thats why I suggested HD 7850.

Also are you buying a SSD to load your games and apps faster ?
