It's best if you do a complete clean install of 5.1.1 (after backing up of course so you can restore after jailbreaking) then run Absinthe 2.0 to jailbreak... then now you restore from your backup.

There are a multitude of people having their jailbreak hang if all they did was "Erase all Content and Settings" in the Reset area as the readme says.

Doing a fresh restore to 5.1.1 seems to be the most fail safe way to do this to date.

Repos are being hit hard, BigBoss won't always work, just give it time as they're getting pounded with new users.

My 4S and iPad 3 are done, and I'm installing themes. Man Dreamboard is a treat... I'm waiting for WinPad - Windows 8 and HoneyPad Pro looks pretty sick too.

This might be a noob question, but should i have my iphone hooked up to the computer with its original Itunes account on it, or should i be ok doing it here at work? Ive done a previous jailbreak at work before but then again that was a 4.0 ios JB. Thanks!

Simply because if absolutely anything goes wrong does, you have the capibility to do a restore and continue your day without issue. The alst thing you'd need is a locked up phone on DFU mode until you get home

Success on iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. I'll try it on the iPad (1st generation) later today, but I'm sure I'll have no issues with that as well. And like someone stated above, a clean jailbreak and restore is highly recommended. My iPhone 4 hung on the reboot screen after installing "Rocky Racoon" and rebooting untethered. Have fun with the new freedoms guys!
