7900gto vs 7900gt - Page 3

Damn, just checked ZZF and they are out of stock there too. Killa, try searching Pricewatch for it, they list all the sellers there. You know you won't even be able to run the card with your PSU though right?

Ok maybe im just dumb but i **** find the gto anywere on that site and i even used the search menu.

So im not sure what the price of the gto was but here:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/e-GeForce-7900...QQcmdZViewItem
Thats $300 but im not sure how much they cost over there anyways, i deal with £££
Its EVGA but it seems a little to steap in the price.....i think....but its what you're looking for. Good luck. Iced

Oh and btw MSI do GTO's aswell if you're not fussed about the company, and they are cheaper that the EVGA's.

Pick up a X1900XT for $270 on Newegg. They beat a 7900GTO.

Both are out of stock right now! But should come in soon.

I agree with the 1900 but he mentioned sli....which most probably means his MB will be sli. As far as im aware you can't crossfire on an sli board. (this is presuming he has already bought an sli board....and he is thinking of getting another gpu later on) But i do agree, if you haven't bought an sli MB. Get a crossfire one and buy a 1900.

No, then they would be required to be sold as refurbished, or it would be false advertising. The GTOs are all new cards.

No, that was just a false rumor.

Thread Starter
well, its nearly the end of the week, and i want to purchase the parts.... the 7900gto is still out of stock and I'm considering the 7950gt.... thoughts? and if you agree should i get the evga 7950gt ko superclocked (600core/1450mem)for $280 (comes with hitman: bloodmoney) or the asus 7950gt (550core/1400mem) for $270 (comes with GRAW)?

I'd prefer to spend less and also get the game i want (graw), but will the superclocked edition perform better? or when overclocked will they hit the same cap?
Get the ASUS 7950 if you want GRAW, you will at least be able to hit 600/1450 of the eVGA with any 7950.

THough, if I were you I would get the x1900xt 256mb, its the same price but it will perform a tiny bit better.
