Help! Can't install windows on new motherboard

I've just got my new motherboard for a server/HTPC. But when i try to install windows on it, it is giving me an error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu." And i tried to install windows on it from my other PC and it worked. But i can't move the hdd to the htpc with windows 7 installed on it from my other PC.

So what do i do?

I have had this happen on a couple different installs.

Once it was an issue with the AMD raid drivers and another time it was something to do with the drive being a dynamic disk.

What motherboard are you using?
