havent they been doing this for a few years... most auto racing or any type of game that has billboards or advertisements (like ice rinks, football feilds... etc)

I think Need for speed was one of the first to do this which had billboards that updated / changed....

I would pick the most obnoxious ads possible. I dont care if its suppose to be the AAA goriest FPS of the year, after you trigger a cutsceen your gonna be finding out some ladies are "not so fresh" down there, or the sad abused animal 30c a day bs is gonna start playing.

If they are going to put ads in games, it would be best and easier to put them during load screens. That way you don't have to stare at a "now loading..." screen. It would be stupid to interrupt you while you are in the middle of a game, what's worse, a boss fight. Imagine if that happened to you. So I think it would be a better idea that if you had to put ads in games, do it at a loading screen.

Doesn't matter how good the game is, I would not buy it if they make me see advertisement before doing anything. I cancelled cable TV when there's a freaking ad every 5 mins and I barely watch anything.

This ties in perfectly with the rumour that you'll need to be connected to the internet at all times to play any games. Otherwise people would just play offline and without ads.

Tell people it's for 'security' and you can literally get away with anything.

No, they can pull a Kindle and download the ads to your device, say your PS3, and have them run anyways.
