FPS Issue in games

To start off with here is a link to the laptop I have. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834158372

My problem is when I open a game, it may play just fine (50+ fps) or it may be slow as hell (10-15 fps). Now if i restart the computer, if it is playing bad, it will fix it and the game plays fine.
I know its not the game, because it does this with every game I play (Diablo 3, WoW, Firefall beta, BF3, ect).
Does anyone have a clue to why it would be doing this?

I have turned off switchable graphics in the BIOS and in catalyst.
Updated everything
reinstalled drivers
Even tried the 6xxx drivers (they work best so far)

Any help or info would be great!

First thing I'd do is download some programs to monitor the temperatures of your gpu, CPU, and mobo if you haven't already. And while you're at it, monitor the cpu usage/frequency and the same for the gpu while you're gaming. Overheating would explain a loss of frame rate after a duration if the fps started out fine. Also, check to make sure your antivirus program isn't the culprit.

Thanks for the ideas, but I keep a eye on temps all the time because its a DV6. They have a bad rep for that.
I will have to check to see if its the Anti virus, I use AVG Free, so that could be the problem.
As far as the FPS, it is either A:Perfect or B:Crap. It never starts off good and degrades over time. That's why it's so puzzling to me.
If anyone else has any ideas as to why it may be doing it, I would love to hear them :-)

Thanks!

P.S
Sorry for the late reply, was out of town for the weekend.
