I recently purchased one of Panasonic's new mid level camcorders. I picked up the HC-v700m off eBay for about $500 with free shipping. This is truly a great camcorder for the money. Including Features like

1080p Full 60 Frames per second recording
Mic Input
Full Audio level customization
46x Zoom
28mm Lens
Built in 16gb
6.1 Megapixel Still image

Here is a test video of the 1080p 60 Frames per second

looks good. not sure if you had a bunch of dropped frames from recording or how you encoded the video to youtube but it looked a little choppy which is easy to fix with the right settings in your editing program. i would disable the digital zoom as the quality goes out the window once it triggers at the end of your maximum optical zoom.

other than that the quality looks really good. congrats on the purchase

I did notice that too, I might have gone a little overkill with the MBPs. I rendered in After Effects with H.264 Codec. It was at 1080p 60 FPS etc etc. But I think i left the mbps at 35 which is way more than what the camera records in. Also you mentioned to disable the digital zoom, how would i go about doing this? Thanks a lot!

if its not in the manual it will be in the menus somewhere. some cameras might not let you turn it off and what they do is once you reach the end of the optical zoom the camera stops for a split second and then starts zooming more. thats the only way to know when you have reached the furthest range optically
