I have had my 2500k chuging along at 4.4 ghz for a year now with no issues but something still confusses me .
I have an offset of 0. When idelling at 1.6 ghz cpu-z reports voltage of 0.968-1.048 while core temp reports vid at1.231-1.341. Now at full load in prime 95 core voltage goes up to 1.28 while vid goes to 1.348. Why does vid hadelly change from 1.6 ghz to 4.4 ghz ???
And i take it this is safe for longjevity ? my temps never go over mid 60's in prime . and i want this cpu to last at least untill the new consoles come out
