Just won a macbook pro

Thread Starter
So I just won a macbook pro on ebay for $1,450. I'm just checking to see if the seller is reliable to trust. He currently has 100% feedback but I'm not sure. The macbook pro is used and I really think it's good.

Listed specs are:
2.4ghz Intel Quad Core i7
15.4" Glossy Display
8gb RAM
750gb 5400rpm Hard Drive
AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB GDDR5 video card

Link to seller: http://myworld.ebay.com/iceb8/?_trksid=p4340.l2559.

So can this guy be trusted. Sorry first time I won an auction on ebay and I'm a bit skeptical. And also I signed up for this site just because I know how reliable the people are and I may have a few more questions when I'm building my own rig later this year.

There is allot of seller protection through Ebay, just make sure everything is documented,

but you will hear horror stories with all sites,

Ebay has a really good buyers protection. You should be fine. And you should really check on his legitimately before you won the bid.

It looks like hes just another guy getting rid of his old model macbook pro and getting ready for the new retina ones coming in a few weeks.

seems cool as im new there as well i got rejected on one of the first things i tried to win because some sellers wont sell to you if you dont have some feedback yourself

I'd suggest worrying about good sellers before you buy stuff from them. Just saying. tongue.gif

That's not winning... That's buying! smile.gif

Seller seems legit. The buyer's are pretty safe on eBay. I'm more nervous when I sell.

I just won a 670 on Amazon

Seems like a pretty good buy to me. That'd normally run you like 2k or even a little more.

Looks like OP pulled out of the deal.

The seller had great feedback with many many high value items, wonder what the problem was.
