Fix your cpu link. It goes to RAM again.

Now nothing personal against TD, I've bought tons of great stuff from them but they are so limited on RAM selection right now. Have a look around here: www.newegg.com Maybe you'll find something you like more for a better price

TD has a total of like 6 choice on 800Mhz RAM.

Also you linked the RAM twice and not the CPU.

That's a really expensive mobo, man...

Possibly take a look at the Gigabyte DS3. One of the best tested overclockers fro Conroe, and half the price. Unless that one has quad support, in which case it may be worth the extra green.

Yes, fix the CPU link.

Are you planning on getting 2 of those sticks? If so, that'll be a pretty sweet rig. But, like he said ^ look around newegg, too.

So far everything looks good (the ram and mobo). Fix your CPU link as has been said. Assuming it is a C2D everything will work well together.

Yes, that will be a good build thus far, though like I said, the mobo is too expensive and doesn't seem to be all that great. Perhaps an ASUS P5B WiFi?

Also, what are you considering for your video card?

well as for the video card, I'm not too sure yet. the all seem kinda pricey.
as for the asus. they seem to lack the com port and I need at least one.

Well my recommendation for a Graphics card would be either an x1900XT or a 7900 GT as both are affordable options now, and will give great performance until DX10 (the next gen cards) has time to mature and get closer to its true potential.
